The folk of the Ealdríce Cynréd are a merry band of Heathens who call the Commonwealth of Virginia our home. Our trow and thew could well be described as English Heathen. As such it is largely patterned on the Heathen belief of the Anglo-Saxons. Our thews are mingled with the Celtic customs that survived into Anglo-Saxon times, just as trow is informed by the lore of the Norse who, for a while, returned the worship of the old gods to England, our ancestral homeland. Presently we gather in the homes of our folk, around and about the capital of Richmond though, when the weather is warm, we prefer to moot and hold blót outdoors.

We have no affiliation at this time. We are a kindred founded on kinship. We meet at the regularly scheduled 8 blots of the year, plus get together through out the year for various events. Our By-Laws are the following: Lifthrasir By-Laws 1. New members will be spoken for, and introduced into the ways of Asatru and Lifthrasir. 2. We will make every effort to attend all Lifthrasir events as long as it is not at the expense of our livelihood or our kith and kin. 3. The way of the bandit is not ours, we will be the honorable warrior who's actions speak loudly. 4. The kindred is all of ours. The kindred does not serve us, we serve it by performing our duties, participating, and taking care of our responsibilities. 5. Our most sacred act as a kindred is the blot. We will show up prepared to honor our gods, our ancestors, our ways, and Lifthrasir. 6. Those whom we share our circle with will be like brothers to us to treat with respect, defend, and to reach out to. 7. Nothing should mean more to an Asatruar than the 9 Noble Virtues. To live up to only 8 is not enough. We must always strive for 9. 8. The mind to the modern Asatruar, is like the sword to the heroes of our myths. A dull blade, like an unlearned mind is a sure route to defeat. The mind must be sharpened. 9. A gift for a gift. The land wights provide us surrounding beauty. We must give back to them the same.

We are a Folkish Odinic group under the guidance and direction of the Odinic Rite Court Gothar. We hold monthly blots in Lancaster California. We encourage any Folkish Odinists to come and participate. Please contact prior to arriving as there are some necessary things that need to be clarified as our Gothi cannot be around other persons Validated by CDCR. We also have a Prison Outreach to convicts in the State and Federal System. We are a mix of persons with a variety of backgrounds. I am the Hearth Guardian and used to be a volunteer Odinist Chaplain in SATF, CCI and Kern Valley SP. We offer correspondence and assistance to Comrades behaind the wire that are committed to the 9 Noble Virtues and the Nine Charges. We were formally known as the Raven's Folk kindred.
